Overview

This apartment was recently gut renovated and given a fresh, contemporary feel for it’s new tenant. I’ve owned this building for many years and I’ve taken pride in my property and the neighborhood called, Demun in Clayton. You can’t beat the location as it’s central to everything in St. Louis and, in my opinion, is the safest place to live in St. Louis. They call this area just off of highway 64/40, the “central corridor” and it’s named appropriately. With quick access to highways 64/40 and 170, the entire city is within a 15 minute drive for you.

However, you don’t have to drive if you don’t want to. Being so wonderfully located, the apartment is about a 15 minute walk to Washington University’s Danforth Campus. It is also minutes away from Walgreens, Schnucks (local grocery store-which is also 24 hours), SSM St. Mary’s Hospital, Esquire 7 movie theatre, Sasha’s Wine bar, Kaldi’s Coffee, St. Louis Bread Company/Panera and many other restaurants, bars and coffee shops.

So a little about what was renovated, a lot of time and attention was taken to design the apartment with durable yet sustainable materials.

Floor:

A warm wood plank flooring makes the place feel like home. Plus it looks great and is extremely durable.

Kitchen/Desk:

The kitchen is new with Ikea cabinets, a porcelain apron sink, wrap around countertop for you to have your meals and a countertop height desk area with bookshelves ( Having rented to many students in the past, I’ve noticed how many never had a proper desk to study, so I’ve built one for you!).

Bathroom:

The bathroom was completely gut renovated as has:

Ikea round vessel sink that sits on a marble patterned top. It matches the marble patterned floor beautifully. The under-sink cabinet also offers some great storage and makes very efficient use of the space.

New walk-in shower with glass door.

New shiny walls which are easy to clean.

Brand new Dishwasher:

I also splurged on one of the nicest dishwashers so you don’t have to wash all of your dishes by hand. It is also one of the quieter dishwashers made and will not disturb you or other tenants.

Lighting:

Being a visual artist I equate good light and lighting with comfort. I’ve installed recessed and track lighting to make the kitchen/desk area bright, warm and comfortable.
